Slingshot has been warming with the springtime sun and I am excited to share updates on recent activity going on behind the scenes over the past six weeks. Slingshot Financial has filed for state registration as an RIA, which has been a career goal of mine for over ten years. I am confident that our focus on advisory business for fair and transparent fees places us on the same side of the table with all of our stakeholders: manager partners, advisors, and clients. While there will undoubtedly be a little more work before registration is finalized the heaviest lifting is done, and I look forward to toasting this milestone in the near future!
We have also submitted a thoroughly intriguing research paper for the National Association of Active Investment Managers (NAAIM) Founder’s Award competition. We explored a variety of timely inter-related topics and were happy to draw a few useful conclusions for Advisors. Moreover, we appreciate the opportunity to showcase some of our core capabilities by producing top-notch, visually appealing research to be used in slick educational marketing content. I cannot wait to share as soon as possible; stay tuned!
